Renewable Energy

We felt it was important to include more modern aspects of life in the Borders in the Welcome Panel and wind turbines are certainly something that we are seeing more and more of across the area.

Both the artist and stitcher have a particular interest in wind turbines – the former has one in her garden, the latter’s son is a renewable energy expert and, at the time of stitching, Chair of Scottish Renewables.
